FEDERATION OF BALKAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATIONS

To preserve and promote our rich and diverse Balkan culture and work with other individuals and/or organizations that share a common goal. To build lasting sincere friendships by fostering interactions between the people of Balkan origin and/or ancestry and the American community. To preserve and promote Balkan culture, language and customs and further endeavor to transcend our cultural values onto our younger generation. To protect the Balkan-American community from the damaging effects of ignorance, bigotry, fanaticism, extremism, fundamentalism and divisive deviations by highlighting their values (which are consistent with that of contemporary America). To aid individuals of Balkan origin and/or ancestry to be a good American Citizen, being and acting as a bulwark against radicalisms, bigotry, racism and extremism.
