Federation of Balkan American Associations, is founded by a group of Balkan Americans whose goal and mission is to promote Balkan Culture and Languages in an effort to strengthen the cultural and educational ties between the people of the United States and the Balkans. Its primarily goal is to help Balkan people integrate into American culture, to preserve and promote the rich and diverse Balkan culture and to transmit these values to younger generations. By fostering interactions between people of Balkan origin and/or ancestry and the American community FEBA encourages everyone be a good citizen of The United States, acting as a bulwark against radicalism, bigotry, racism and extremism. Federation of Balkan American Associations organizes educational and cultural activities such as Annual Balkan Leaders Reception, International Conferences, Lectures and Seminars, Workshops, Balkan Film Festival, Balkan Food and Culture Festival, Sports Tournaments, Youth Nights, Art Exhibits, Concerts, Movie Screening, Business Network Receptions, Trips to the Balkans, After School Programs, Learning Center, Language Courses, and informational programs about the Balkans and Balkan Culture throughout placing special emphasis on dialogue, and peace.

concertNassau County Parks’ International Music Nights Concert Series will present on June 14, 2010 “Balkan American Night” at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre in Eisenhower Park. “International music nights are a terrific opportunity to explore all the cultures Nassau County has to offer,” said Nassau County Exec. Ed Mangano.  “Come enjoy the park, music and culture all summer long.”
